We wanted to share a morning from one of our really successful ongoing ministries here at DPC.
Firstly, For those who aren’t aware, we facilitate a program called Mops. It’s where Mums of small children meet every fortnight to sit in organised groups to chat, share experiences & build relationships with other mums, have morning tea and do a craft all while their children are being cared for by volunteers.

Each year at Mops we dedicate a morning to what we call our Service morning, in which we choose a charity for the mums to support.
Our Service Morning this year was held on the 23rd of October and Eva’s Place was the recipient of our kindness.
Eva’s Place is a new centre in town supporting women through their pregnancy journey some of which are unexpected pregnancies in crisis situations.
We had such an overwhelming response from our Mops mums when we asked them to donate Baby goods, and we were able to fill 11 Baby Baths full to give to Eva’s Place to pass on to their expectant mothers when their baby arrives!
Here are some photos of the morning!
